Tonight's workout kicked my butt.  I did half an hour on a Schwinn Airdyne.  I have no affiliation with Schwinn and at this very moment am not sure they are even a company anymore. My family used to own a Schwinn Cyclery in Indiana and so I recognized the Schwinn Airdyne as a quality used item at a local thrift store.

I started tonight's workout with ten chair push ups and ten chair dips and on to the bike.  Fot the bike I started with a 5 minute warm up and then alternated between overhand and underhand gripped pulls using only the arm handles.  For one minute each with a one minute rest in between using only the legs. Then five minutes legs and arms together. Then back to the beginning for three sets of chair exercises and 30 minutes cardio on the Schwinn Airdyne.  This is pretty much my standard routine for a workout right now.  Just enough to get the hormones activated to lose fat and grow muscle according to Tim Ferris and in his book The Four Hour Body. As I understand it. Or adapt to it.

I don't know how to properly document or give credit for referencing things but I am trying to give credit where credit is due. I don't make any money for recommending these things but I will post a link to them if blogger allows.

I have lost 14 pounds now in two weeks. Bottom line is, this is working because, #1 I believe it will and #2 I am finally taking action to make it happen.  I have sat here for ten years crying in emails and text messages about being fat and miserable to friends and piles of exercise equipment and DVD's.  I am finally making the effort to create a habit and just get moving.  I hope you will do the same.

As I mentioned I am new at blogging again soon I will find out how to post up pictures.  Thanks for checking me out.
